I am in Geneva, FL. The hive beetles are present, and for now, do not cause
a problem. There were hive beetles in the last package (from GA) I purchased
when I picked it up from the postoffice this spring. The suggested treatment
is the 4" square of corrugated with 2 halves of a comaphous strip stapled to
the corrugated side and placed on the bottom board. It seems to me that the
use of OMFs requires an alternate treatment. If using OMFs, just how does
one treat for hive beetles?
