Typ rates for 8-frame colonies over the past few years has been in the
$170-$190 range.  For better hives, over $200.

It looked as though there would be a shortage this season, then not.  Hard
to tell.  But lots of weak hives are being rented, which pisses off those
of us who put a lot of money into supplying strong hives.
