Opposition spokesman John Cobb says the decision will have serious ramifications for Queensland and the rest of Australia

Most of these people are sadly misinformed. The Asian honey bee is healthier than the european by far, mostly because it has not been bred by people. They are wild all over Indonesia, southeast Asian and India


Some 342 swarms or nests have been found and destroyed. None of the bees in the nests destroyed carried any exotic mites of concern such as Varroa, tropilaelaps or tracheal.
