Ah, sevin. I used to use sevin for fleas. I felt very uncomfortable about covering the dog, the cat and the carpet with it. Now I use imidacloprid. Much better plan. The newer generation of pesticides are smarter and cheaper in the long haul, IMHO.

Of course, we need to examine them carefully for side effects, after effects, etc. on non-target organisms. Blind faith in science or the agrochemical industry would be just as stupid as blind faith in anything.
