Hi All

I was working some time ago with a very experienced beekeeper and I saw him
introduce queens using a matchbox. He simply put the queen into a matchbox,
opened it ever so slightly (less than a millimeter), and stuck the matchbox
in between two combs of brood. It worked. He told me he had been doing it
this way for many years.

Recently I tried this myself (a beginner) and it worked out also.

I mention this for what it is worth.

Sincerely
