>>I have seen fluvalinate fail us in the 90's and after a hiatus of some years, become once again effective in economically reducing the mite
population.

Kirk, I have often wondered about the prediction that fluvlinate may again become effective in 2 to 3 yrs. This didnt seem likely from purely an arithmetic point of view, and some very important points of biology would have to be present for that to happen. So to help me, pls let me know in your experience, how long in yrs did it take for fluvalinate to knock down, say 50%, or 75%, or 90% of the mites, or whatever level you considered effective? What % knockdown level did you define as " effective". Also how long is the 4 to 6 plus frame brood rearing season where you experienced this. Then I can think this thru a bit more.
Thanks
Greg
