help clarify the problem especially if they suffered major loss.

Ontario?

You really can't compare Canada to the U.S other than casually.

Canada beekeepers please do not take offense as not a personal attack!

Canada is what we call simple beekeeping.

Like owning a motorcycle or boat in most of Canada.

You can only use or ride a few months of the year.

Beekeeping is year around in the U.S. for the major players.

Splits are done in some operations and a large number of hives reworked in the south from almonds already. Almond pollination money in the bank. Hives not yet checked in Canada. Hives to replace the crashing hives are being made up 12 months out of the year by Horace Bell Apiaries in Florida.

I congratulate Medhat on his success but I would bet money if he sent a few thousand hives south and the hives spent a year exposed to what U.S. hives are he would have his work cut out for.

Seeking advice from us?

I think we need to take a reality check that PPB and virus etc are behind the problem. making a list of every possible cause is interesting but was done 7 years ago.

Now Pete thinks CO2 needs added to the list. Now the co2 research funding chasers will be wanting research dollars.

Always keep in mind when a problem is solved the funding dries up. Beekeepers want the bees dying issue resolved. Most Americans and congress does.

We love our honeybees.
