I'm not sure what we ever left beekeeping.
I, in fact loved all the responses to this thread. 

...I ask:  is it a sin on this list to explore the relationship
between a beekeeping great such as A. I. Root and
the comparing the scientific world of yesteryear with 
that of today?

Am I not getting something? please explain.
As a moderator Mike, where did the topic go off
not to your liking?
