 >Yes Mike you are correct , it should have said sugar syrup so as not to confuse anyone. I have limited online time due to having  to much going on with fall honey still to pull, patties to put on everything,feed ,not in barrels ,inside hive feeders, my extracting and custom extracting , unloading a few semi loads of bees for a couple other people among a boatload of repair work.The bad thing about central florida is the bees hardly ever stop until we have frost which is around christmas most times. Then maple and willow are not long to start blooming ,  the good thing is its good for the bee's when you need to build weak splits, I'll have to work on thinking and typing better next time ,lol
