Hi Suzy,

There seems to be no easier way of uniting 2 nucs or colonies than the "old newspaper trick". Its simple easy and foolproof. I do it whenever I need to unite colonies. Beekeepers I knowusethe same trick. Its great to see the shreaded newspaper at the entrance of the hive. I tend to remove the paper once the 2 colonies or nucs are intermingled and there is no problems with rejection. Take care Girl

Greg
