I like the quote.  And clearly, part of this are better tools.   Army 
developed the Mass Spectrometry-Based Proteomics tools for use in  protecting the 
health of our troops.  Rather interesting to see comments  that question 
the validity of this technology for detecting viruses in  bees.  Hmmm.
