To all Beekeepers.....
If you have watched the news at all, you know that the Virginia
lawmakers are in session. The two bills introduced that are of
particular interest to beekeepers are listed below. We are asking that
you immediately contact your Delegate and Senator to convince them to
support these bills.

Please pass this info to any other beekeeper you may feel to be
interested.

SB-199....Damage Compensation to be extended to beekeepers for losses
to bees and bee equipment. ( partner bill in lower house: HB-1069 )

SB-200....Amends Plant Pollination Board structure to assist in setting
up new Queen Bee research and development program in Virginia.

This beekeeper sees these bills as worthy of your support. Your
assistance to contact as many of the state lawmakers as possible to
convince them to support passage of both bills is requested. Phone
calls, emails, and personal letters will show we are interested in
protecting the bees.

Thank you...
