> The Microbial Health Factor

I can personally relate to this post. I suffered with disabling allergies
for 20+ years and have tried just about every nostrum and pharmaceutical
that I've run across purported to relieve them; including honey, propolis,
pollen and stings with little success. However, I found a probiotic 3 years
ago that mediated about 90 percent of my allergy problems... not an accident
as I quit taking this spring in the midst of pollen season because I was
feeling great with no allergy effects. Allergies returned as bad as before
or worse in a couple of months...I had to return to my daily dose of
probiotic to get relief.
I wouldn't be at all surprised to see research that the use and overuse of
antibiotics has contributed to the loss of beneficial bacteria we need to
combat health issues.
