it seems most people confuse pesticides and herbicides.  Roundup is a
herbicide, not a pesticide.

I am a Master Gardener.  One of the first things we learned was what is a pest and and pesticide.  Pesticide is a large umbrella for describing "agents" that will kill pests.  A hoe is a pesticide.  A flyswatter is a pesticide.  Two bricks are a pesticide.
