Thanks for your comments, Bill!  I am only reporting what I observe.

In none of the actual measurements of proportion of mites under cappings
have I seen the 90% figure.  It is more often in a much lower range.

As far as the efficacy figures that I found, I waited long enough for any
mites under the cappings to emerge.  Unfortunately, there is no standard
figure for number of days to wait until evaluation of efficacy.

Re your product (MiteGone), I go out of my way to mention it in my articles,
although I have not tested it myself, as I am cautious about the degree of
handling of liquid formic acid entailed.  However, your data on the product
looks really good!
