Note the single quotes, as I paraphrased the question.  Surf to
BEE-L.org and choose the month of interest from the offerings.  The
resulting web page behaves in a very Windows like manner.  If you
check on a column (like "Subject") once, all the "Subjects" will be
offered in ascending alphabetic order.  Click on the same column again
and the subjects will be offered in descending alphabetic order.
"From" and "Date" work in a similar manner.
