Randy asked if anyone knew which countries have complete bans.

France and five other countries—Austria, Hungary, Greece, Luxembourg and Germany have banned GM crops, although in France the Council of State (the highest administrative court) has just declared the ban illegal

President Francois Hollande told Agence France-Presse that the ban was enacted “not because we refuse progress, but in the name of progress,” and that it would remain in place despite the court’s ruling.
