Any ideas why a strong hive, 3! deeps of good brood at all stages has pollen...but hardly any honey! Plus the ordinarily docile bees in this hive were very aggressive.

The 10 hives around it are just fine as far as supplies. Perhaps this hive is not finding the food source the others are? I split this hive in May.
Gave them 2 deep frames of honey, pollen substitute & put a sugar syrup feed on, they have not taken much syrup 24 hours later.
