My technique for using Ziploc bags is:
1- place the Ziploc bag inside a 2 lb coffee can. Fill the Ziploc to the
top of the can.
2- Place a queen excluder on top of the hive (over the top bars).
3- Place the Ziploc on the QE and cut the slit as previously described.

The coffee can works really on the tail gate, in the field and the QE allows
one to move the Ziploc with holes in if filled with liquid if need be.
