I thought I was the only one who used "activated charcoal" pellets in
my smoker!  These things are extremely convenient.  Sure beats the oily
rags I learned with...
 
Of course, one day in a moment of whimsy, I dropped a couple frankensense
pellets in with the leaves.  Rather pleasant...  I thought of it was
ceremonially smudging my bees.  ;-)
