The common practice of hiring helicopters to hover over the orchards at
night costs hundreds of dollars per hour.  There are also large orchard fans
advertised, but I haven't noticed any in practice.

Irrigation helps to release moisture, but most almond orchards that I see
don't have provision for overhead sprinkling.
