If there is still a flow going on, will the winter bees forage or do they just hang out at the hive. If they forage will this shorten their lives for over wintering? I know that they are physiologically different from summer bees. Is this due to the lack of foraging or the lack of brood to feed. Do they emerge from the cells with these differences or do the differences develop after emergence?
