"Back on the theme of colours, I'm sticking with white no matter what people say.  We may be in Scotland, but I live in hope that we'll have some very warm summers soon, and those of us still in white might avoid the heat exhaustion experienced by our colleagues is less reflective garb.

That was always my understanding - white reflected the most light and left the wearer the coolest when out in the sun, especially when covered top to bottom.
