Halle.

Is anyone out there using a hand-held, electricaly heated knife for
uncapping? If yes, is it working well? Using a knife like that, do you
simply cut the wax level to the upper and lower bars of the frames? Are
there any negative aspects to using a knife?

What is an affordable method for separating such wax from all the honey that
you cut off with it? (Affordable as in economically OK for a 20-30 hive
operation).
