I agree wholeheartedly with this. If you cannot see that well, try
strong reading glasses, $8 to $12 US, and a bright lamp. I used to
graft in my pickup truck with a searchlight fastened to the sun visor
and plugged into the cigarette lighter. Nowadays, indoors, I use a
miner's headlamp and reading glasses. Also, the steel wire tools they
sell can be modified slightly by filing down the tip so it fits more
easily under a tiny larva. I am not sure whether priming the cups
makes a difference but it is so easy to do. Mix a little royal jelly
with lukewarm distilled water and put a dab in there.
