I don't think I posed my earlier question correctly. Our bee club is working out the economics of dry sugar mixed into a 2:1 sugar solution vs. buying buckets of HFCS type-55

5-gallon buckets of type-55 HFCS cost $44.08

We can buy 50# bags of sucrose for $22

Aside from the labor of mixing sucrose, aside from driving to pick up the the HFCS, what percentage of sugar is found in HFCS? At one point, as my feeble memory betrays me, I thought it was 83% sugars where 2:1 syrup is 66% sugar.

Comments from you mathematicians and economists.
