Bob,  One of the listed symptoms of CCD was the lack of any invasive insects (wax moth and/or small hive beetle) invading the now defenseless hives for at least one week if not two.  Have you heard any references to that condition?  Secondly, from what I have heard, any new bee colonies placed into these affected hives have also seemed to have perished.  Have you come across that situation?
