Bob,
     Help me with this. This is the first time I've heard of this tactic. If
it works... why?
I throw grass in front of the entrance. I liked the system of 50 years ago
recently noted in one of the Bee Mags of putting a container of water on top
of the hive and arranging for a constant drip at the entrance. Bees stop
robbing in the rain. Anyone ever do this?
