It's not coincidence. 

Many editors, writers, and researchers read Bee-L, even if they don't post.   I wish they would.

Some subscribe and read regualrly or lurk. 

Even if they are no reading the list, they get forwarded messages saying WTF.

BEE-L is a fairly concentrated and no-nonsense source of ideas gathered widely, and dissected here

Many BEE-L members read widely and document their sources, and that is somewhat unusual on the web.

Any bets is we see articles about bee intelligence and even free will in the mags someday soon?
