2,4,5-T was the source of dioxins in Agent Orange including 2,4,5-T products registered for use in lawns, agricultural and other uses to control weeds in the USA.  This is the reason EPA removed 2,4,5-T from the market for use as a herbicide in agriculture, home lawns and all other uses.  2,4-D is still in continuous today without any documented instances of contaminating the environment with dioxins.  Probably, every homeowner who used Weed-B-Gone and other products containing 2,4,5-T in the 1960s and early 1970s were exposed to dioxins when spraying their lawns to kill weeds.
