Nice experimental design Seth!  Using a scale that takes weights at
10-minute intervals, it's easy to track the weight loss from the exit of
foragers in the morning, and then their return.  If you ran the proposed
experiment when there was no nectar flow in either of the yards, it would
give a good indication of whether many foragers were lost during their
first flight, by comparing to baseline data from before the move.
