Our education systems for the most part do not equip kids to manage
their affairs, but rather to be employees or support recipients.

Understanding the credit cycle and the folly of relying on debt and
asset values should be the first lesson in commercial beekeeping.  I
learned that lesson at the School of Hard Knocks.

Actually, math is the basis, but some understanding of probabilities and
risk management is also crucial.  Unfortunately learning these concepts
tends to separate one from the crowd and make one seem "illogical" to
the uninitiated.
