My advice is fairly simple.  Why not join your local beekeepers association,
address usually available from a local library and link up with a nearby
experienced beekeeper who you can work with and can advise you as to what is
best for your bees.  Buddying up in this way can expand your knowledge
rapidly but does sometimes mean you doing a bit of work for the more
experienced beekeeper and vice versa.
