>VarroMed is an antiparasitic medicinal product containing as active substance a fixed combination of two organic acids, oxalic acid dihydrate and formic acid (ATCvet code QP53AG). The mode of action of both substances is still not well-known, although direct contact to mites is needed. The withdrawal period for honey is zero days.

> At its October meeting, the Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use (CVMP) of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) recommended the granting of a marketing authorization in the European Union (EU) for VarroMed (oxalic acid dihydrate / formic acid).

This seems like a simple combination that's almost intuitive. But could this product be as straightforward as mixing the acids together is some ratio and then it's ready to dribble into seams?
