L.S.,

Does anyone have a favorite website for good current honey bee evolution knowledge?

I have been in doubt recently...did sociality come first and then a social wasp turned to pollen/nectar feeding? Or did a pollen/nectar feeding solitary wasp turn social later on?. I am pretty sure it is the second option, kind of based on the "diversity pyramid", social bees are kind of a new development in a sea of solitary species (adaptive radiation driven by bee-plant couples). But I am not too sure...

All the best,
Lennard
