it have stopped because of the difficulty of getting the permit.

Same over here. Me need special permit. Last one took me three month of
paper work and pressing the authority. That is why I am so keen on an
alternative. I have tried bleach, with no good result in terms of spore
reduction but good result on colony behaviour, is bleach controling
viruses?. I will keep on testing oregano.

wet weather, leaving them in wet shady conditions in my autumn conditions
etc.  In other words stress in one form or another.

If you didn't have Nosema at the start wouldn't have to worry, but as you
have what you are describing increases the problem.
