Taylor's Joys of beekeeping.

Certainly agree with that one.  It is in our association library and you
have reminded me that I should read it again.  I always remember the phrase
'puttering about' from it - something I must have done ever since!

Another book that I really enjoyed is 'My Bee Book' by W C Cotton (we have
the 1970 reprint of the 1842 edition in our library) - so much humour in it.
