O-M-G! Talk about poor experimental design and poor statistical
evaluation. I suggest that all read the full paper (open access at here
<https://scholar.google.com/scholar_url?url=https://download.atlantis-press.com/article/55908693.pdf&hl=en&sa=T&oi=gsb-gga&ct=res&cd=0&d=3338038521067152188&ei=4RM-XPrxKoX3ygT1xIWYCw&scisig=AAGBfm2KjrbHJpJ14eB-GXVk00RLm2bmtA>
 ).

This was not a controlled trial, which would have tested the selected group
vs. an unselected group in the same locations, but rather a record of honey
production over four years of selection. And in the last year, honey
production for the gentle bees was greater than that for the starting
year! It's a travesty that the results of a breeding program would be
presented in this manner.
