Also will heating honey destroy this bacteria.? 

Nothing in the above web site mentioned the effect of H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) on the bacterium.  Honey does have that trait and why it is used for the treatment of open wounds.  Wonder how that would effect the bacterium found in the honey, from whatever source?
