I just remembered.

The last time we went around this topic, the conclusion was that insulation is like insurance.

Some, maybe much of the time, the bees will be fine without, but sometimes it saves your bacon.

What happens day to day. most of us don't know, but sometimes there are moments, days, or weeks that will kill the bees or colonies if they are not protected.
