I find that to be one of the most profound statements that I have seen on Bee-L.  Not much to do with bees, but well worth saying none-the-less.
As I see it, the biggest problem is wealth: when we were poor we lived a frugal - and healthy lifestyle - but now in the Western world so many of us have sufficient money to be able to indulge in things that are not doing much for our health.  I have just seen a report on the television that the number one reason for admissions of 5-9 year olds to hospital is tooth decay.

Now I need to moderate my eating, work and play; not so sure about the drinking!
