There has been reports in the past that Buckfast are more difficult to
introduce. The suggestion is to use a small nuc as a starter, but then
this method has been advocated many, many times in the past. Don't take a
gamble on expensive queens, by requeening a full sized hive.
        I must agree, there is a trend developing with queens which I find very
disturbing, some of which can be attributed to poor mating.
