90 percent of our hives are setup with a deep and a medium box for the
brood section.We have a couple of hives that are three mediums deep. It
makes it easier to make splits or to beef up another hive. It's nice to
know using mediums could possibly help with swarming. we also use the
medium boxes because of the weight factor , due to bad backs. Thanks for
the info.
