There are many synthetic as well as natural preparations that have
been shown by strong scientific evidence to be causal agents in
     promoting cancer.

Tau-fluvalinate, on the other hand, has been proven by the same
rigorous testing to be non-carcinogenic - ie does NOT cause cancer.

(It's still not recommended to eat Apistan strips, but not for the
cancer risk; anybody thinking of doing so please phone your therapist
now; if it's for dietary reasons you may try cornflakes instead -
     they're not fattening either).

     All the best,

Here are a couple of Sources where you might be able to get info on
toxicity of insecticides. While there is always concern using "*icides"
requiring care limiting exposure, data on long term chronic effects is
poorly understood!

Fluvalinate is from a group of insecticides that is fairly safe showing
little mamalian toxicity, again chronic effects are not easily identified.

You can always contact a vendor for info , labels or material safety data
sheets.
