The short answer is, of course, no. It is heat that is lost, not cold that is gained.   

On the other hand, what is circulated by refrigeration pipes? Does it not appear that cold is a substance?

What is it that you get when you purchase a bag of ice cubes? What is the value added when you buy a Cold Beer?
