Randy,  we must be careful with what we wish for.  That funding will without
a doubt come with strings and conditions and bring even more scammers into
the system.  Many will see dollar signs and figure out how to mess it up.

I would much rather they stay out,  and let us handle it.

If it sounds good,  its not...  Beekeepers have done pretty well without a
lot of meddeling for decades  
A quick look at any thing they are involved in should scare you.

Look at the Dairy industry they wanted to save in the 80's......
