A while ago I was told about a bee colony that had been killed with Sevin spray. I looked up Sevin and it's a non-residue insecticide that's used on vegetables and fruit trees that's very toxic to honey bees. Even though it's supposed to be non-residue, I'd hesitate to re-use any honey and comb from such a colony for honey bees. Does anyone know if it would be safe?
