The Changing Fundamentals of Beekeeping
May 14-15, 1999
Penn State University, University Park, PA
Sponsored by:
MAAREC - The Mid-Atlantic Apiculture Research and Extension Consortium

Honey bee management is quickly changing. Not only must we manage our
bees, we must also be able to effectively manage the newly introduced
parasitic mites that attack them. This course is designed to cover the
basics of keeping bees for honey production and pollination while focusing
on the control of diseases and mites. The Changing Fundamentals of
Beekeeping is open to all interested beekeepers as well as individuals
