Thanks Bill.  Ok, no melodrama (nobody wants to think the end of the universe is here, etc)...point taken.  Still, remember that there aren't only engineers on this list.  Of the more than 600 subscribers, some are in research fields that have helped the engineers and they have also helped plain old everyday farmers in esoteric ways.  Those folks might continue to make contributions occasionally, as has happened often in the past on a more global level.  The group of non-engineer researchers shouldn't be discounted as non-valid contributors to the overall understanding of what is happening here with bees.
