My info states 1-1 in the spring to stimulate and simulate incoming nectar,
this way brooding speeds up.

I store unused Terra (sealed) in the deep freeze and it's good from year to
year.
It seems to be the ingress of air which damages it in storing. Sorry I can't
help with pollen info, I only use pollen substitute.
